There won’t be much rain in the forecast as the eastern United States will be located under a dome of high-pressure. This is caused by the building of an upper-level ridge that will slowly climb our high temperatures today from the upper-80s to the mid-90s by early week. Associated with the ridge is a closed-high, which will allow this high-pressure dome to sit for a while and cause this warming trend. As a result, conditions for the entire forecast will remain dry and hot.
