Forecast Discussion
The upper-level trough that brought us storms is moving out of the area. The Ohio Valley will be entering downstream from a ridge which will provide subsidence and pleasant conditions for the majority of the week. High-pressure will settle in Monday through Thursday before it moves out on Friday. During this period, there will be mostly sunny conditions with temperatures near normal for this time of year in the mid to upper-80s. Winds fairly calm with some northerly flow. Heading into Friday, another low-pressure system will begin to approach bringing along a cold front. This will increase the likelihood for another round of showers and thunderstorms heading into the weekend.
