Forecast Discussion
Higher pressure in the area will slowly be forced out as a slower moving midlatitude cyclone enters the upper Midwest region. Tonight, partly cloudy skies will increase in cover by the morning. The strong cold that has been present will finally give way to temperatures in the low 40s for a high on Saturday due to an approaching warm front, and more clearing in the skies will be present by the evening. Overnight, clouds return as the cold front pushes through, increasing clouds and dropping temperatures slightly back down to the high 30s on Sunday.
Calmer weather and warmer temperatures are likely to start the new week, as highs will increase from the low 40s on Monday to the high 40s by Wednesday. During this time, skies will have a few clouds moving in and out with some breezier winds as pressure fluctuates.
