Currently, strong surface high pressure has set up over the region aided by upper-level ridging. A weak cold front bringing a slight drop in temperatures is expected Monday into Tuesday, which will dry things out even further. The National Weather Service has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for an increased risk for fire danger today through Thursday. This is due to low afternoon relative humidity values possibly as low as the teens through the forecast period and slightly breezy winds today.
