High pressure will continue to hold its course in our region today so yet another day of sunshine is expected for us. Only difference notable today compared to early and mid week period will be presence of humidity and we are sure many of you have already noticed this if you have stepped outdoors so far. We will continue our streak of reaching middle 80’s once again. It will feel bit more uncomfortable given the humidity and more importantly we are still not used to these types of conditions just yet. High pressure still holds tonight and we will only cool down to upper 50’s to lower 60’s. High pressure moves out of the picture Saturday, and we don’t have dominant surface features to note of, but we do remaining SE flow which will allow farther increase in humidity as the flow is coming straight out of Atlantic ocean. We will get daytime showers and storms to form in the region as things warm Saturday afternoon. We are not expecting any severe weather with these as we lack wind shear and not everyone will see the rain as well. As sun sets Saturday evening, showers and storms die out, but there can still be isolated storm here and there. We will have much better chances of showers and thunderstorms on Sunday as cold front nears the region. There will also be wind shear present this time so damaging winds looks to be main threat with isolated large hail also possible and SPC has already issued slight risk to cover this potential and we will update you as we get closer. Another cold front comes through on Monday which will bring another round of rain and thunderstorm, but more importantly we will cool down closer to seasonable levels to start out next week period and dry weather returns once again.
