Forecast Discussion

Currently, a low-pressure system is making its way through our region. Morning snow showers will taper off before noon and become scattered rain showers throughout the day. Overnight, temperatures will dip below freezing again, which could mean some isolated snow flurries in the early morning hours tomorrow. As this system pushes off to the east, rain will move out of the area and temperatures will drop behind the cold front associated with the surface low, and high pressure will build in behind the front.

As surface high pressure builds, temperatures will start to climb slightly, reaching the high 50s by the end of the week, and clouds will also clear out of the area by Thursday. However, it looks like another surface traversing the Great Lakes region is going to bring a cold front to the region, bringing back chances for rain to start out the weekend.
