Forecast Discussion

A high pressure system is sitting stationary over our area. With this, we will see clouds start to clear out and the sun will poke out. This will continue into tonight as the high pressure will stick around and we will see an overnight low of 31ºF. Sunday will bring clear skies and highs near 60. The high pressure will begin to get sent off the the east coast Sunday night as a low pressure system will move its way towards us. We will see a warm trend on Monday as the chance of rain and thunderstorms return. While it is still days out, the National Prediction Center has issued a slight risk for severe weather on Monday with the biggest threat being wind. As Tuesday approaches, we will see our temperatures drop back into the mid-50’s for the day and then into the mid 30’s for the night. This trend will continue into Wednesday as it is pretty much identical.
