Forecast Discussion
The National Weather Service in Charelston, West Viginia has issued a Flood Watch in effect from February 6, 12:00 PM EST until February 7, 01:00 PM EST
Early this morning a cold front passed through our area which will bring cooler temperatures as we go throughtout the day. Tuesday evening we see a low pressure system with a stationary front attached to it in northern Oklahoma. This stationary front will develop into a warm front as we we go through out Tuesday evening into Wednesday morning. This warm front will push north into our area Wednesday morning and seems to stick around through Thursday Evening. This warm front will be the main reason for the temperatures to go back up into the 60s for Wednesday and Thursday, but will also bring rain with it. On Friday morning we could see the potential of rain-snow mix as the fronts push out of our area and bring back the cooler temperatures. For Friday and Saturday we will highs in the 30s with lows in the teens. Also, after these fronts move through, we will also see clouds diminish and begin to see clear skies.
