Forecast Discussion
The presence of upper level ridging in the jet stream will persist over our region through Friday. Associated with this is the dominance of high pressure through Friday. This will promote warm temperatures and mostly sunny skies with highs in the upper 70s and lows in the lower 50s for today and Friday. A large pattern change comes in the form of an approaching cold front on Friday night which will traverse the region Saturday morning. This will promote chances for rain on Friday night and Saturday, as well as drastically cool down temperatures with a high only in the mid 50s expected on Saturday. High pressure will then move back in behind the front, promoting clear and dry conditions for the rest of the weekend and into the beginning of next week.
