As a low pressure system moves slowly through the area over the next couple of days, we will still have warmer than usual temperatures but expect periods of heavy rainfall today and through Thursday evening, around half an inch expected today and half an inch expected tomorrow. There is a high potential of flooding in the area during this time. There is a slight chance of thunderstorms tomorrow in the evening. This weekend skies will clear but temperatures will be dropping back near and below freezing.
