Forecast Discussion

Despite a few lingering morning showers and clouds in the area due to the presence of a passing cold front this morning, the rest of the day today looks to clear out with highs in the upper 70s. Friday will also be mostly sunny with highs in the low 80s, despite some patchy dense fog in the morning. However, the presence of this high pressure will be brief, only persisting through the day Friday as a pattern change arrives by Friday night into Saturday. This pattern change comes in the form of another cold front that will impact the region Friday night into Saturday increasing precipitation chances. These precipitation chances may linger around Saturday night before conditions dry out for Sunday and into the start of next week. Hot temperatures will return for the beginning of next week with highs once again approaching 90 degrees.
