Forecast Discussion

Tonight, get outside and take a look at the Geminid meteor shower, peaking on December 13th and 14th at 2:00 am! While it will certainly be cold, with temperatures in the mid 20s, clear cloud cover combined with a New Moon will allow for stunning visibility. Tomorrow, temperatures climb back to the low 50s with sunny skies and calm weather, as high pressure is still very much dominant in our area. As the day continues, a few clouds will move through during the evening, becoming partly cloudy overnight.

Pressure begins to drop on Saturday as a low pressure system begins to make its way through the Midwest. Cloud cover will be mostly cloudy through Saturday, but will transition to overcast by Saturday night. By Sunday morning, a chance of rain develops, and showers will persist through the afternoon. A chance of rain will continue through Monday morning as well, and due to a stark temperature gradient, some flurries can be seen again late Monday. Temperatures then will plunge back into the 30s to continue the week, though conditions will be much calmer.
