Forecast Discussion

High pressure moves to the central Midwest today meaning that clear or mostly sunny skies should dominate. Temperatures will be comfortable in the mid 70’s with reasonably moderate humidity. Tomorrow cloud cover will increase as high pressure moves away and a low pressure system approaches from the northwest. Chances for rain will begin Saturday night as the system comes to the area. Sunday will see this front slow down and becomes briefly stationary in the early part of next week, leading to chances for showers and thunderstorms for most of the week. Precipitation may be heavy at times especially early in the week when moisture is plentiful. Temperatures throughout the week will remain in the upper 70’s to low 80’s with nightly lows in the mid 60’s.
