Forecast Discussion

Today conditions will be warm, calm, and cloudy as low pressure approaches. Winds from the southeast will bring in large amounts of moisture, and late this evening into tonight, chances for rain will begin. Sunday will see the potential for the most intense rain. Moisture will continue to be brought into the region up from the Gulf and temperatures will reach the upper 70’s and low 80’s for most of the week due to the warm moist air. Beginning Monday, showers may turn to thunderstorms as instability increases and the low pressure moves to the east. Chances for precipitation will continue through rest of the week as a quasi-stationary front establishes itself over Ohio.
