After the passage of a deep trough and its associated cold front, cloudy skies and showers will stick around for the next few days. Today and Saturday there is also the possibility for a few rumbles of thunder. As this trough continues to the east and we get the backside of it, winds will be breezy to windy with some gusts up to 20 possible later tonight into early Saturday morning.

Heading into the end of the weekend and the early parts of next week, a slight chance of showers is possible on Sunday, but clouds will finally begin to clear out and we will see a warming trend. With the clouds clearing out, overnight lows for Sunday into the beginning of next week are expected to drop around or just below freezing, which will cause some concern for frost those days. Make sure to take care of any plants outside before the frost comes!
