Today is expected to be a nice day, with pressure sitting a bit higher than normal, expect a mostly cloudless day in the morning. Then, as the day continues expect some cloud development and a quick warm up. Clouds will begin to gather en masse tonight, and give way to potentially some raianfall starting around 4:00am. Then, we will see a continued period of rain and potentially thunderstorms in the evening hours Tuesday. Thunderstorms in our region are not expected to be severe, but since they will be lingering and accompanied with some quick wind gusts the NWS office in Charleston has us tagged with a Hazardous Weather Outlook.

Following tomorrow, Wednesday will continue to be rainy and gloomy, and if you thought it couldn’t get better, Wednesday night will likely have a steep temperature drop into the 20s, which could see the rain system turn to maybe even a trace accumulation of snow Thursday morning. Thursday morning will finally be quiet, and will spark another warm up leading to what could be a beautiful weekend.
