Forecast Discussion

Upper-level ridging is helping to keep things nice and clear for the time being, with temperatures that will warm quite a bit tomorrow into the low 40s. Monday night, a system is expected to move through with an incoming disturbance bringing the chance for freezing rain and a wintry mix, becoming all rain before noon on Tuesday.

Temperatures will continue to warm drastically, reaching into the high 50s by Thursday, as a warm front is expected to lift through the region from Wednesday into Thursday. This system will mean continuing rain and showers, likely throughout the majority of the week. Despite the rain, temperatures outside will feel much nicer than they have recently, with the CPC predicting well above-average temperatures over this period of 6–10 days. Warmer temperatures look to stick around for the next week and possibly even next weekend, so stay tuned to later forecasts for up-to-date information.
