Forecast Discussion

Mostly clear skies are expected again tonight, but a surge of southerly flow will keep lows near 60. An approaching cold front will provide only a slight chance for an isolated shower or storm late Friday into Friday night as the frontal boundary remains fairly weak. This front stalls out in the southern Ohio Valley region on Saturday, but again only a slight chance for isolated storms exist late Saturday into the overnight hours. High pressure then begins to dominate by Labor Day, likely keeping any precip at bay to start off the work week. A slight warming trend will persist through next week, with the next chance for storms returning on Wednesday.
