Forecast Discussion

Our upper level ridging pattern that has been persistent off to our east will bring warm temperatures for two more days. Continuing with these unseasonably warm temperatures into the upper 80s today, we begin to cool slightly on Wednesday by a couple degrees. The next system that is associated with an approaching cold front will bring rain showers Wednesday night and into Thursday. Our diurnal temperatures won’t be able to heat up quickly early on Thursday, which will keep the instability low as well as thunderstorm possibility. With the timing of this cold front, rain showers as well as high cloud cover is to be expected as an abundance of moisture will be present. Cooler than normal temperatures then become the story as well see some CAD into the Friday after the passing of the cold front. Late week and into the weekend, High temperatures will struggle to hit 60 with lows in the upper 30s to lower 40s, which may produce some frost in some spots.
