Forecast Discussion

Cooler temperatures will continue to persist in our area and frost will be of concern early on Thursday and Friday with lows hovering the freezing mark. Cool and drier air dominates much of the region with an associated high pressure through Thursday with mostly sunny skies. A cold front that is associated with a shortwave feature in the plains will trek easterly into our region late Friday and the early portion of Saturday. Friday will bring in this moisture along with cloudy conditions and rain showers that will persist later in the day with the precipitation wrapping up early on Saturday. Drier air quickly settles back in as we will continue to experience these cooler temperatures throughout the rest of the weekend and early next week.
