Forecast Discussion
Cloudy conditions as well as cooler temperatures should be expected throughout the day. While precipitation is not of concern, an abundance of low-level moisture will keep the clouds around and even a slight chance of a sprinkle. There is a potential for some patchy fog, especially in lower-lying areas for the early morning hours on Wednesday. We shift back into another ridging pattern as another high-pressure system takes place in our region with warmer temperatures back into the 80s. Alongside these temperatures, the dew points begin to climb once again heading into late week, bringing a potential threat for rain. Hurricane Florence in high confidence will make landfall in the Carolinas this Thursday, bringing a lot of rain for much of the coast as well as inland. An unknown track of Florence after landfall may have the potential for possibly affecting Southeast Ohio’s weather late weekend into early next week as it begins to weaken.
