Forecast Discussion
Another ridging pattern is taking place for much of the region, introducing warm temperatures and drier conditions throughout much of the week. Mid-week, this High pressure in place will show for mostly sunny conditions, leaving a small risk for a shower with low-level moisture staying present. Temperatures are expected to bounce back into the lower to mid-80s as this ridge aloft pushes to the southeast by late week. From the northwest, a cold front associated with a shortwave trough will bring a risk of thunderstorms and showers late on Friday alongside cooler temperatures and lower dew points for the weekend. A stalling of this boundary may possibly bring additional rain showers into the rest of the weekend and early next week.
