The National Weather Service in Charleston, WV has issued a Freeze Watch in effect from October 18 1:00 AM until October 18 10:00 AM EDT

A high pressure system over the region will keep temperatures at or below 60’s for the remainder of the week and into the weekend. Tonight and tomorrow night, a lack of cloud cover will allow temperatures to further drop to near freezing. Friday, clouds will return and keep warmth in for the night. Friday night, a cold front will come through causing rain showers which will last for most of the night and become scattered Saturday. Sunday will see a return to clear skies and low temperatures at night following the passage of rain.
