The National Weather Service in Charleston, WV has issued a Flood Watch in effect from October 31, 8:00 PM EDT until November 2, 8:00 AM EDT

This afternoon, conditions will begin to grow cloudy before rain begins due to an incoming cold front. This cold front will stall over the region tonight which will allow showers to persist until Friday.  Heavy rains can be expected at times which may lead to flooding in low-lying areas. Friday, the cold front will begin to move again as a low pressure system begins to push it eastward. Saturday and Sunday will see skies clearing up and temperatures in the 50’s.
