Forecast Discussion
Today is our area’s last day of what has been persistent high pressure. Today will stay dry, but will become increasingly cloudy as the high pressure system begins to be pushed out by an incoming low pressure. This system will swing into full force tomorrow afternoon, when a period of prolonged rain will begin. As the low pressure moves through, we will see several days of clouds and rain, with highs around 50 and lows not too different at around 40 degrees. These conditions will continue all weekend and into the start of the new week. Things may begin to dry out on Tuesday, but our region is in for some rainy conditions for much of the foreseeable future.
