Forecast Discussion

While the slightly warmer temperatures won’t continue into tomorrow and Thursday, we will thankfully remain in the upper-20s in the latter half of the week. Winds will remain quite calm, and we may see some brief peaks of sun these next couple of days. However, come Friday, another system will roll through which will allow our temperatures to soar up into the lower-to-mid 30s during the day, but it will bring yet another chance for snow to move into the region. Currently, it seems a significant portion of the snow may occur during the mid-morning and early afternoon as temperatures remain slightly below freezing. If we crest over freezing in the afternoon, we may transition into some rain-snow mix. The type of precipitation is still relatively unclear at the moment, so please stay tuned for future updates. Thankfully, as we move into next weekend, conditions will be fairly calm, but quite chilly.
