Forecast Discussion

Calm conditions are expected both tonight and into tomorrow as high pressure finishes up settling in. A low-pressure system will begin moving in on Tuesday, bringing us some rain slight chances. However, rain chances are much stronger towards the end of our weekdays with Thursday to Saturday rain amounts accumulating up to ~1.1 inches for Athens, OH. After these rains, the weekend and next week will experience some well above-average daytime highs in the 50s.

The Quadrantids Meteor Shower may have peaked last night, but chances are still strong this evening! Conditions will, however, be mostly cloudy, and last night’s Wolf Supermoon may decrease sightings from its brightness.
