Additionally, all of Southeast Ohio is under a flood watch due to a slight risk of excessive rainfall from the NWS Weather Prediction Center. Today will feature scattered showers and thunderstorms throughout the day. Storms are expected to become more numerous in the evening hours. The main risks from these thunderstorms include strong to damaging winds and heavy rain. Some storms may linger into the overnight hours, and then they clear out of the area leaving mostly cloudy skies and patchy fog throughout the region. Fortunately, the next several days are expected to be mostly sunny and pleasant with rain chances returning on Friday.
