After a cold front swept through the region yesterday evening, our overnight temps fell to the upper 40’s. Today will remain seasonable because of this. Our highs today will peak in the mid and upper 60’s with a slight Northerly breeze. It will still be a great day to get chores done outside as we will be cloud free the majority of the day with no precipitation expected. Tonight, we will see our lows dip into the 40’s with upper-level clouds and calm winds. Our Spring season has been characterized by above average temperatures and we will continue that characterization into Sunday and the upcoming work week. High’s Sunday will again make it up to perhaps the low 80’s with a sometimes blustery warm Southerly breeze. No precipitation is expected tomorrow as well, Saturday and Sunday will be great days to enjoy the outdoors with family. More clouds anticipated on Sunday will offer more protection from the Sun however. Sunday night we will start to see warmer nights with lows in the 50’s.

Your upcoming work week looks to start spectacularly with daily highs making it to the 80 degree mark or better each day. However our air will feel more humid this week as moisture from the Gulf makes it up into our region. There is considerable uncertainty regarding Thunderstorm chances this week but anytime we see humid days with highs in the 80’s, that usually signifies that our chances of seeing some thunderstorms is increasing.
