One final burst of warm air will fill the region as a strong system moves northeastward just north of the state today. Gusty conditions are expected because of this strong system with gusts up to 20-25 mph, possibly 30 mph in some spots. Much of the rain associated with this system may arrive by this evening into tomorrow morning, but this is likely to remain in the early morning hours before your morning commute. As this system continues northeastward, calmer conditions will follow; however, gusty winds will remain as the strength of this system lingers. For the most part, dry weather should be expected for the start of the work week, but we may see some snow flurries come Thursday as another weak system enters the state.
