Tonight we will have a low around 28 degrees with snow showers after midnight. These snow showers will stretch into tomorrow and be mostly passed us by mid-to-late morning, we will see an accumulation of 1-3 inches throughout the duration of this system. There is also a risk for freezing rain which will cause a light ice accumulation. The mix of our snowfall and the chance for ice has prompted the National Weather Service to issue a Winter Weather Advisory for Athens County. This will impact your morning commute so please give yourself the necessary time to not only brush and scrape your car off, if parked outside, but to also drive cautiously to wherever your destination may be as roads may be slick. 

We will remain cloudy after this system moves out until Wednesday when we will start to see those clouds decrease and allow for a bit of sunshine for the remainder of the week.
