Another pleasant day today with clear conditions. High pressure continues to stick around with the high temperature today reaching 85 degrees. Light winds are expected to come out of the east, giving us a nice breeze. Tonight, well remain with mostly clear conditions with a few isolated clouds developing. Low temperature reaching down to 53 degrees. As we move into Wednesday, we’ll keep very similar conditions with temperatures rising into the mid to upper 80s.

Throughout the remainder of the week and into the weekend, high pressure will continue to settle in our area, bringing clear and dry conditions. With the lack of rain recently we could see drought conditions worsen in the coming days. Currently, Athens is at a D0 (Abnormally Dry) drought level. Temperatures are expected to rise in the upper 80s through the rest of the week, and potentially in the 90s by this weekend.
