Muggy conditions continue which will cause already warm temperatures to feel oppressive, and a severe thunderstorm threat is also being watched for Monday. Some thunderstorms expected to roll through later tonight, hopefully helping to cool off the temperatures a little bit for the early morning. Mostly sunny, warm and muggy tomorrow with heat indexes likely reaching into the upper-90s ºF. Not much relief tomorrow night as temperatures will likely stay above 70ºF, but feel worse due to the lingering humidity. On Monday, this heat and humidity looks to set off the possibility of some severe thunderstorms. The Storm Prediction Center currently gives Monday a slight (2/5) severe weather risk, and we will continue to monitor this threat over the next couple of days. Wet conditions expected to stick around through Wednesday, with some more rain as we continue the work week.
