Forecast Discussion

A Special Weather Statement is in effect from NWS Charleston, WV. Very late tonight and into tomorrow early morning, a passing low may bring some light snow flurries with negligible accumulation. These flurries combined with already-chilled road surfaces may cause slick roads during morning commutes. A polar vortex will bring us frigid temperatures Thursday night into Friday morning, with lows in the mid-teens. We will warm back up to slightly above freezing, but skies will remain mostly overcast and gray through the weekend.
