Forecast Discussion

High pressure will build into the region through today, as we’ll see some nice clear skies, and seasonable temperatures peaking in the 50s. Tonight will bring us some similar conditions, through tomorrow where a low pressure system that has formed in the Central Plains will make it’s way through the region. By the time the system arrives tomorrow, it is expected to be towards the end of its life cycle, and will drop temperatures considerably, but not before it causes a day of rain and intense, blustery winds on Monday. Expect rainfall totals around 0.5″ to 1″ for this system, so areas of high water in flood-prone areas will be possible, so stay alert!

Following tomorrow, there’s another low pressure system right on our doorstep, so don’t expect another prolonged period of warm weather, but the daytime on Wednesday will be nice following a warm front, and then that night there will quickly be another cold front that will spoil the fun.
