We’re right in the crosshairs of a strong warm front approaching the region, which will give us warm things up considerably after we’re treated to a little morning rain. Thanks to some strong low-level wind flow, winds are expected to be gusty today through tomorrow night as well. Tonight, expect some more rain showers, and then some considerable warming as we enter the warm sector of this system. I would say tomorrow would bring us some unseasonable warmth, but I feel that may be an understatement as the temperature could potentially approach 80 degrees for tomorrow. Then, once nighttime falls, the temperature will be off to the races to cool back down to something we would expect for the end of February, and we should see a welcome return to nighttime lows in the 20s, with potential for even a winter system Friday night.
