Today is expected to be the final day of this cut-off low pressure system thats been encircling the region for almost the entirety of the weekend into the beginning of this week. Temperatures today will follow the trend of the past few days, and we’ll see a last chance of rain tonight beginning this afternoon into the early evening. Tonight, clouds are expected to decrease as a high pressure system starts to build into the region. This will be the beginning of a warming trend associated with a high pressure system. There will be some lingering moisture with this system, so we’ll still see the potential for some light cloud development over the course of this system, but temperatures will trend upwards into the high 70s on Sunday before we see another low pressure system.
