Forecast Discussion

Cooler weather this week compared to last. We can thank our cooler conditions to a sweeping cold front that pushed east yesterday. Today and tomorrow, we sit in a trough that will bring some unsettled weather to northern Ohio. Due to the cold front system, some cloudy conditions and consistently high winds are prevalent through much of the region. Gusts of up to almost 25 MPH are possible today, and they will remain gusty for most of tomorrow. Lows will drop to freezing Thursday night into Friday as we sit in a freeze watch. This could possibly bring some frost to areas Friday morning. By mid-Friday, a high pressure system located in Kentucky will bring some clearer conditions throughout the weekend. For this time of the year, we can expect some fairly warm weather this weekend but lows will drop close to freezing at night, making it bitterly cold.
