Forecast Discussion
The National Weather Service has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook and Special Weather Statement. Both concern high wind gusts up to 30 to 40 mph into this evening. The Hazardous Weather Outlook states that, “Isolated instances of high water are possible Tuesday night into early Thursday given repetitive rounds of rainfall or slow moving showers and thunderstorms.”
After last night’s severe weather, conditions are looking to be much tamer this weekend! A small high pressure system to the southwest will be giving us sunny skies and mostly clear overnights. As we move into next week, a strong mid-level trough will bring us higher dewpoints ahead of the cold front. Severe weather is expected southwest of Ohio, but as the days move closer, this region may shift.
