Temperatures will continue to rise today and tomorrow as warm air continues to move into the state from the south. Calm conditions are expected today, but as a system moves eastward through Thursday, winds will rapidly begin to pick up Thursday evening into Friday morning. These winds could gust to 25-30 mph in some spots as this system approaches and exits the state. We could see rain Thursday night but will likely finish early Friday morning, so it’s not expected to impact your morning commute. This system will bring cold air with it, dropping our temperatures down back into the lower-30s on Friday, though we will rebound by next weekend into the 40s. Calmer conditions are expected to follow by Friday.
