Today, clear skies will continue all the way through the night as pressure still remains relatively high, around 1024 mb. Because of a lack of clouds, overnight cooling will plummet temperatures all the way down to a low of around 35 degrees, prompting a Frost Advisory to be issued for our area. Be sure to protect any vulnerable plants that may be outside tonight! As tomorrow arrives, temperatures will quickly rise all the way to the high 70s, creating yet another beautiful day of sunshine and warmth for our area. However, a few more clouds may arrive as the day continues as a warm front approaches the area from a potent midlatitude cyclone out west. This warm front is set to arrive in the evening-into-night hours of Friday into Saturday, with a chance of spotty showers possible during this time. More breezy conditions can be anticipated on the approach and passage of this front, as well.

Overnight Friday into Saturday will continue to be cloudy, which will persist for the majority of the day on Saturday, only breaking in the later afternoon into evening. We will now be stationed within the warm sector of this large midlatitude cyclone, meaning that temperatures will only continue to increase as moist, warm air is funneled into our region from the lower South. Temperatures by Monday will peak at around 86 degrees, which is incredible for this time of year. Conditions during this time as well will be prominently sunny, making these days quite hot! However, some relief to the heat will arrive in the form of a cold front set to move through the morning hours of Tuesday, potentially returning some storms to the area around that time.
