Forecast Discussion
Driving conditions will likely continue to be hazardous into the overnight hours, and with fairly gusty winds to follow us during this time, please drive with caution due to slick roads and the risk for blowing snow. We may see some light snow tomorrow morning as well but may be light enough to not add much to our current snow total. Temperatures will remain below freezing tomorrow, so the accumulation we saw today will not melt immediately and could freeze tonight into tomorrow night. Thankfully, after tomorrow morning, calmer conditions will immediately follow as the strong system finally moves out of the state by then. Clouds will still remain, unfortunately, keeping skies cold and dreary as a result. However, temperatures will begin to rise by tomorrow as warmer air follows the cold air following close behind this exiting system. By the end of the week we likely will see temperatures balance between the 50s and 60s for the next week or so, so thankfully the cold temperatures won’t stick around for long once spring officially arrives!
