Forecast Discussion

As we go throughout the day today, cloudy conditions will persist with some light isolated rain showers developing, especially towards the afternoon. Winds will come out of the Southwest with warm air settling in, allowing us to peak around 60 degrees. Tonight, winds will start to calm down with a break in the clouds early on before cloud cover increases again closer to midnight. Low reaching down close to 44 degrees.

Throughout the remainder of the week, a system will move through Thursday night, bringing another round of rain and potentially thunderstorms after midnight. Currently, we are on the edge of a Marginal risk (level 1 out of 5), for the chance of some storms containing stronger wind gusts and hail. These storms are expected to weaken once they enter near our area, but an isolated severe thunderstorm can’t be ruled out. Temperatures early next week are expected to cool back down into the mid 30s.
