Cold air will follow close behind the system that’s currently exiting the region. We can still expect some overnight showers, but they will be quite minimal in the early morning hours before sunrise. Sunny skies will return Sunday morning before some clouds return Sunday evening into Monday morning, though the possibility for rain showers is quite minimal. With the excess moisture today, we may see some frost Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday morning. If you’ve been tired of the heat, Sunday and Monday are your days to enjoy as temperatures are expected to drop significantly to seasonal temperatures in the 50s. Calmer weather is expected as we move into the work week, but we may see our next chance for rain Wednesday morning as a weak system moves through Ohio during that time.
