Forecast Discussion

The big picture over the next several days is that our weather will remain sunny and calm but also hot, especially by the start of next week.

Today will actually be pleasant and dry with a high around 85. A warming trend begins tomorrow as highs reach close to 90 degrees; expect similar temperatures Monday with a slight increase in humidity. By Tuesday, the first day of September, it will be in the low-90s, but the mugginess will create feels-like temperatures in the upper-90s. These conditions will persist into Wednesday.

This pattern will occur due to a dome of high pressure that looks to stay put over much of the southern and eastern US, keeping us rain-free but plenty warm for this time of year! Stay cool in the days to come.
