We are currently under a Flood Watch in effect until 2:00 AM on Tuesday, August 18th.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms are moving into the area and are expected to be out by late morning. More thunderstorms are expected around dinner time today when a cold front moves through. These can cause localized areas of flooding due to heavy rainfall.

Tomorrow, we finally get our much-needed break from the rain as we will see partly cloudy skies and highs in the low 80’s as we get ready for Ohio University’s Welcome Week. Nice weather will continue through Wednesday; however, the chance of showers and thunderstorms will come back into the forecast on Thursday.
