Athens, OH is under a Flood Warning until 5:30PM today, and is under a Flood Watch until 1PM Thursday March 5th. The region is also under a Slight Risk (Level 2 of 4) on the Excessive Rainfall Outlook for possible scattered flash floods until 7AM tomorrow the 5th. Do not drive onto flooded roadways. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. 

Due to already saturated grounds and lots of rain still to come, the current Flood Watch may be extended to later in the week. However, expect a slow warming trend with temperatures potentially reaching into the upper 70s by Friday. Wind gusts may get up to 25mph tomorrow and majorly stem from south-southwest.
