Forecast Discussion

An intense low-pressure system will make its way northeastward throughout the day. The primary threats for this system today and into tonight is intense winds, however there is a small possibility of a tornado spinning up. Please make sure you have plans in place in case severe storms impact southeastern Ohio. Wind gusts could be of an excess of 25-30 mph today and tonight, so make sure to take any outdoor decorations inside. Thankfully, by tomorrow conditions are expected to clear and settle. A cold front and an upper-level trough will chill out temperatures especially overnight Sunday as skies begin to clear. High-pressure will continue pushing out cloud cover, and our temperatures Monday may feel quite chillier from what we’re used to! For most of the upcoming work week, conditions will likely remain dry and pleasant.
