Forecast Discussion
As rain showers continue to leave the area, we will still be experiencing a Flash Flood Warning in Athens County into the evening. Be sure to take precautions and avoid low-lying areas that may become flooded easily. The passing of a cold front during the day interacted with available moisture to create cloudy skies and intense rain showers. This evening will be a muggy one as the air cools and water vapor remains as a result of the rain earlier in the day. Tuesday morning will start with partly cloudy skies, but as the day continues, a passing stationary front will bring more clouds into the area and some light rain in parts of south central Ohio. In addition to cloudy skies, we will also see a slight increase in temperatures in the low 90s. As the week continues, we will continue to see scattered thunderstorms and temperatures sitting in the mid 80s during the day and low 70s overnight.
