Forecast Discussion

Clouds will build tonight into tomorrow as a low-pressure system moves through the region. We’ll briefly see temperatures in the mid-60s tomorrow, but likely will see showers in the afternoon ahead of a cold front. Gusty winds are expected tomorrow as well with sustained winds between 10-15 mph and gusts possibly up to 30 mph in some spots. By Sunday, we’ll see the beginning of an intense cold snap as a deep trough aloft digs into the state alongside multiple cold fronts passing over the state. Daytime temperatures may only reach the upper-30s to lower-40s Monday and Tuesday. A frozen mix may be seen Sunday, but the main concern will be Monday and Tuesday with snow possible on Monday. Please make sure to bundle up next week, especially as we may see some gusty winds alongside these chilly temperatures.
