Tonight then kicks off an extended period where showers and thunderstorms are possible nearly every day and night. At this time, none of these storms are expected to be severe, however, there could be a risk for flooding. Remain weather aware and stay tuned for updates as we move through the week. This week also features heat indices that will be at or above 90 degrees. This is due to humid air being present in the region throughout the week.
