Even though temperature wise we are slightly cooler, it will not feel like it as the Heat Advisory continues today. Our heat index is expected to get up to 99 degrees, luckily a break in the humidity should set in tonight allowing for the advisory to expire at 8 pm.

A sunny and hot day again today before cloud cover increases tonight with the approaching cold front. Reprieve from our heat wave is expected this weekend as chances of rain return tonight and tomorrow. Highs will also cool back into the low 80s and dew points drop back into the 60s by Sunday.
