Forecast Discussion

We are currently under a Heat Advisory until Wednesday, September 2nd, at 8 pm.

The word of the day will be hot today, as we will see a high in the low to mid 90s, but with high dew points in the low 70s, our heat index values will approach 100 degrees. Much of the same is forecasted for tomorrow, as our heat index values can reach up to 102! Limit outdoor activity as much as you can and remember to stay hydrated.

We will stay hot on Thursday too, but our chances of storms come back. Currently, we are under a Slight (2/5) Risk for severe weather. As of now, there is still uncertainty about whether the storms will form, but if they do, they can produce instances of severe wind, along with hail.

Friday, we are under another Slight (2/5) Risk of severe weather. Like Thursday, there is still uncertainty about whether storms will form, but if they do, they can produce severe wind gusts.

After Friday, we expect our temperatures to dip back down into the low to mid 80’s for the weekend.
