Forecast Discussion
A high pressure system will keep the region clear and warm as the week progresses. This is due to the upper-level ridge that is building in the west. This pattern is expected through today and tomorrow. Starting on Friday, we will see a disturbance sweep through the region. This will spark some thunderstorms and rain ahead of the cold front we will be seeing. This system is expected to keep supplying us with rainfall through the weekend, and the best day will be Saturday, where some thunderstorms are to be expected. For Independence Day, expect there to be intermittent rainfall through the day. This rainfall is expected to clear up towards the night, though, so celebrations should still be on!
