However, a mid-latitude cyclone will work its way across the region starting late tonight, as a warm front begins to lift up into the region. This warm front will bring scattered showers throughout the day Sunday (perhaps with some localized heavy amounts to the north of the region). The cold front will sweep through Monday, bringing another round of showers and storms, a few of which may be strong to severe with the chance of scattered damaging winds. Cool and calm conditions settle back in for the middle of next week before another system approaches by the week’s end.
