Forecast Discussion
An area of high pressure is dominating the weather for today bringing abundant sunshine and rather warm conditions. Temperatures will not get as cool as they did last night, due to a shortwave trough moving into the region tonight. There is no precipitation expected, however the increase in cloud cover is expected to keep temperatures on the warmer side of guidance tonight. A rather tranquil weather day is in store tomorrow with highs in the upper 70s. Rain returns Thursday into Friday as an upper level low stalls over the region. The heaviest rain should fall Thursday night into Friday morning with the cold frontal passage, but the region will remain showery through Saturday. Saturday will be a rather chilly spring day, with high temperatures struggling to reach the 50s, however by Sunday temperatures are expected to rebound 10-15 degrees.
