As a trough moves through our region from the Polar Vortex, bring extremely cold temperatures to most of the Midwest. In our area, temperatures will continue to drop throughout the night with wind chill being -15. Temperatures will remain very cold on Thursday with the high only being in the teens with a slight chance of snow heading into late Thursday night. As we head further into the week, we will see a rise in temperatures and a chance for snow on Friday.
